The Swedish engineers who worked on this beauty have thought of
everything, including a little removable trash bin in the center console
to help keep things tidy. All XC40s are powered by a turbocharged
four-cylinder engine, but it's offered in two potencies—184- and 248-hp.
Handling is stable and confident, but it isn't as much fun as the BMW X1 or the Mercedes-Benz GLA250.
Contemporary interior styling is both unmistakably Volvo and clearly
upscale. The XC40 is an easy recommendation for someone who appreciates
good design.
